Our base for all our operations is the Snow Farm (www.snowfarmnz.com).
The Snow Farm is located near the top of the Pisa Range(altitude approx
5000′ ASL)
south of Wanaka, NZ.
Access is via the Cardrona Valley Crown Range Road (SH89) linking
Wanaka and Queenstown. It is advisable for
vehicles to carry chains for both SH89 and the drive up to the
ski-field.
The Snow Farm is NZ‘s premier venue for X-country
skiing and offers great trails for winter activities, including dog
sledding.

John and Mary Lee, the owners of the Snow Farm, have developed the
venue over the last two decades and while it is the home of X-country
skiing other winter sports such as Biathlon, winter triathlon, kite
skiing and sled-dog racing can all be seen here.
NZ winter sports people are indebted to the Lee‘s for their foresight
in developing such an amazing winter facility.
Dog sledding first appeared at the Snow Farm in 1991 and has been a
regular fixture since 1996.
